Folks often ask, "What is a brand?" Or they'll say, "I need a brand," without actually knowing what they're asking for. But for sure, everyone thinks it's at the very least, a swanky logo and a meaningful tagline. It might be similar to how I feel when I say, "I need an accountant," thinking surely they perform magic with numbers, right? Anyone who has started down the road of asking themselves, "What is my brand?" has considered many possibilities. I ran across a slideshare produced by Darwin Brand Consultants who made a pretty good effort at defining just what that is. It's worth the click and read.
