Each year the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, a non-profit organization in Homer, Alaska, works hard to share their services with the public through their annual report. Through countless hours of service by volunteers and staff they 'bring nature' to school children, adults, and the community. Their annual report is chock-full of pictures and is a wonderful tribute to all of their efforts. Read the report online! The report was featured in the printer's blog! Such efforts to bring nature to the public should be appreciated. Coastal studies was always a favorite subject of me. There is a wide variety of species across the sea in which 80% are still not revealed to the world.
